Client Spotlight: Pharmaceuticals For Vet Clinics And Their Customers

Each month, we will bring you a spotlight on one of our clients that will give you greater insight into who we serve and how we serve them. Questions? Contact us any time.

Client: A pharmaceutical company whose products are available to 8000+ veterinary clinics, as well as for home delivery, throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Project: In addition to palletizing, packing and shipping these products off to clinics, private clients and online retail customers, our team was asked to fulfill private label online orders for vet clinics and their customers. As part of these services, the client asked us to use specialized machines to specially label the products prior to packing and shipping. The client provided three of the label machines for these products and their special labeling.

Challenge: As our team got familiar with the machine and the labeling process, we learned how to position the bottles and labels so that labeling would be properly done. Early on, we realized that some of the labels would “bubble up” and not stay on smoothly. After much research and trial-and-error, we were able to remedy the issue and find the right tools to prevent the bubbling from occurring. Our client was pleased that our team took the time and put the effort into researching, finding and instituting a long-term solution for the label issue.

Result: Working together for a solution, we were able to keep costs down, efficiency up and, as importantly, make sure that all of the fulfillment services, in addition to mail services and shipping, were kept in-house so we could fully serve our client.
